Used 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe for Sale nearParksville, BC

How much does the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe cost?

Prices have softened 12.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 289 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and an expert score of 7.67/10, it lands as a strong pick for shoppers who want a distinctive family SUV. The 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe is aimed at fashionable families who value space, technology, and a standout look, and the longer wheelbase helps it feel more practical than its bold styling might suggest.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The Santa Fe’s bold, boxy design gives it real road presence, and Hyundai has packed in features that make sense in a family vehicle of this size. The trade-offs are that some rivals may offer more cargo space, the design will not suit everyone, and top trims are expensive.

37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Hyundai’s own positioning and the expert test drive both point to a vehicle built around practicality, modern features, and a strong warranty. The Santa Fe also brings a broad set of standard equipment, which can help reduce the chance that you’ll feel short-changed after purchase.

Hyundai Canada’s warranty coverage is five years or 100,000 kilometres, and you also get free roadside assistance for five years with unlimited kilometres.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that top trims can be expensive, so you’ll want to make sure the features you’re paying for are actually important to you.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The XRT adds off-road-focused styling, black roof rails, and 18-inch wheels, while the Ultimate Calligraphy brings 21-inch wheels, captain’s chairs in the second row, a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display, and the Blind View Monitor. The Luxury sits between them with more equipment than the XRT, and the top trim is the one most likely to suit you if you want the most comfort and convenience.
• Powertrain: The gas Santa Fe uses a 2.5-litre turbocharged engine with 277 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard across the lineup, and the hybrid is a separate model.
• Safety package: Every trim gets adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection, lane keeping and lane following assist, a driver attention monitor, and safe exit assist. Rear parking collision avoidance assist, side park distance warning, and Highway Drive Assist require more money, and the top trim adds blind spot avoidance while the top two trims get Blind View Monitor.
• Infotainment: Every gas Santa Fe gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, while navigation is built in only on the Luxury and Ultimate Calligraphy trims. Over-the-air updates and Bluelink app connectivity are also included.
• Fuel efficiency: The gas model is rated at 10.6 L/100 km combined, while the XRT returns 10.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe is offered in 3 trim levels: XRT, Luxury, and Ultimate Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• XRT: This is the most rugged-looking version, with black trim, black roof rails, and all-terrain tyres, but it is also the least convincing if you want genuine off-road ability. It makes sense if you like the styling and want the entry point to the gas lineup, but it is not the best value if you want the richest feature set.
• Luxury: This is the best-value choice for most buyers because it adds more comfort and convenience without jumping all the way to the top trim. It also gets built-in navigation, which the XRT lacks.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the most luxurious version, with the most premium cabin features, the digital rearview mirror, head-up display, Blind View Monitor, and the blind spot avoidance feature. Choose it if you want the most upscale Santa Fe and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package is generous across the lineup, but some advanced driver-assistance features are reserved for higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 289 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $44,324 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe's resale value?

The current average of $44,324 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,724 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you’re buying now, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about expectations. If prices continue to stabilise, the Santa Fe should remain competitive, especially for shoppers who want a distinctive three-row crossover with strong equipment levels.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe safe?

The 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe earns a four-star overall safety rating from NHTSA and a Good rating from IIHS, with Acceptable results in the headlight and LATCH categories.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai includes a long list of standard driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection, lane keeping and lane following assist, a driver attention monitor, and safe exit assist. Rear parking collision avoidance assist, side park distance warning, and Highway Drive Assist require a higher trim or extra spend.

The main caveat is that some advanced safety features are not standard, so you’ll want to check trim carefully if those systems matter to you.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 brings a bold design, more interior space from its longer wheelbase, and strong technology.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $41,529 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $44,324 CAD average.
• The 2024 is a fully redesigned Santa Fe with a bold, blocky look and a longer wheelbase.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year pricing context and the latest version of Hyundai’s bold design, the 2025 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the smarter path and still gives you the redesign’s core strengths.
