We share your submitted details with CreditApp and the applicable dealer. A display with a list of lenders that you are likely to be approved for is generated. This financing prediction, powered by CreditApp, is only an estimate of which lenders may provide you financing based on the information you submitted.

We work with many major CA-based lenders and continue to add new ones. Lenders in this program include TD Bank, Santander, AutoCapital Canada, Axis, and Quantifi.

There is no impact to your credit score during the CarGurus financing prediction process. All details will be sent to the dealer and CreditApp and finalized directly at the dealership before submitting to a lender.

In select markets, you can enter your details for a financing prediction no matter your credit. However, we can’t guarantee that you’ll get a result or match from our participating lenders.

If email or phone doesn’t work for you, you can indicate your preferred appointment date directly on CarGurus. The dealer will be in touch with you to finalize your appointment and book your test drive.

By sharing your trade-in details in advance, the dealer will be able to research your vehicle’s value ahead of time and streamline the purchase process for when you get to the dealership.
