Should I buy a 2022 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• It remains broadly popular and easy to understand.

Consider the 2023 if:

• It adds updated infotainment and safety features.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want a strong mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current-market availability. If your priority is spending less, the 2021 is the smarter price-sensitive path; if you want newer features and can stretch your budget, the 2023 is the upgrade to watch.
