Used 2019 Chevrolet Trax for Sale near Ontario

How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Trax cost?

Prices have softened 16.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 105 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating suggests you’re looking at a model that resonates well with shoppers who want a small SUV that is manoeuvrable, affordable, and easy to live with. The overview points to a compact footprint, a higher seating position, and practical packaging, so it suits you if you want city-friendly size without giving up the usefulness of a crossover. It also highlights budget-friendly pricing and a range of trims and features, which makes it easier to match the Trax to your needs. With 22.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests the Trax’s appeal is rooted in practicality and everyday usability rather than complexity, which can be a positive sign for used buyers. It also notes that the first few years of production were relatively slow and light on safety features compared with later models, so you should pay close attention to equipment level and condition when shopping. For long-term ownership, the main risk is ending up with a lower-spec or poorly maintained example that doesn’t deliver the value you expect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Trax?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 22.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 105 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.93% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,449 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

The current average of $13,449 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,190 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Trax has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may benefit from a lower entry cost, though resale gains are likely to depend more on condition, mileage, and trim than on broad market momentum. Because the model is positioned as an affordable, practical small SUV, demand should remain tied to value-conscious shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Trax or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 22.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Trax makes sense if you want a compact, affordable SUV with a practical layout and you value a lower purchase price over chasing the newest features. If you’re price-sensitive, this year looks especially worth considering because the market has softened and there are enough listings to compare. If you want the best balance of value and confidence, focus on well-kept examples with the equipment you need rather than simply choosing the cheapest one.
