The 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe is aimed at you if you want a distinctive family SUV with a bold look and a longer wheelbase that helps create more interior space. Hyundai’s own positioning and the test-drive summary both point to a vehicle that blends style with practical family-friendly features.

With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a reasonable chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Hyundai’s broader pitch for the Santa Fe leans on practicality, a strong warranty, and a feature set that suits family use. The expert test-drive notes also highlight a great warranty and a powertrain lineup that gives you options, which supports the case for dependable everyday ownership.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The XRT, Luxury, and Ultimate Calligraphy trims differ in appearance, wheel size, seating layout, and cabin materials. The top Ultimate Calligraphy trim swaps the second-row bench for captain’s chairs, while the XRT adds off-road-focused styling touches and black roof rails.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.5-litre turbocharged engine with 277 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard AWD. The hybrid is a separate model.
• Safety package: Every trim includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection, lane keeping and lane following assist, a driver attention monitor, and safe exit assist. Rear parking collision avoidance assist, side park distance warning, and Highway Drive Assist require more money, and the top trims add blind spot-related features.
• Infotainment: Every gas version gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, while navigation is limited to the Luxury and Ultimate Calligraphy trims. Over-the-air updates are included.
• Fuel efficiency: The ICE model is rated at 10.6 L/100 km combined, while the XRT returns 10.8 L/100 km combined.
