Used 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe for Sale nearGrand Falls-Windsor, NL

How much does the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe cost?

Prices have softened 12.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 277 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It is aimed squarely at you if you want a distinctive three-row crossover with a bold look, more interior space from its longer wheelbase, and family-friendly features. The trade-offs are that some rivals may offer more cargo space and the design will not suit everyone, while top trims are expensive.

The market also looks reasonably healthy, with 34.3% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Hyundai’s own positioning and the expert test-drive notes both point to a practical, well-equipped family vehicle with a strong warranty and useful technology. The performance notes also describe the Santa Fe as stable in corners with firm brake feel and responsive steering, which supports the impression of a well-sorted daily driver.

Hyundai Canada’s warranty coverage is good for five years or 100,000 kilometres, and roadside assistance is included for five years with unlimited kilometres. That kind of coverage can reduce early ownership stress for used buyers.

For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the styling, packaging, and trim pricing still suit your needs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The XRT adds off-road-focused styling, black roof rails, and 18-inch wheels, while the Ultimate Calligraphy brings 21-inch wheels, captain’s chairs instead of a second-row bench, a digital rearview mirror, and a head-up display. The base trim does not get the digital instrument cluster.
• Powertrain: You get a standard 2.5-litre turbocharged engine with 277 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic and standard AWD. The hybrid is a separate model.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection, lane keeping and lane following assist, a driver attention monitor, and safe exit assist. Rear parking collision avoidance assist, side park distance warning, and Highway Drive Assist require more money, and the top trim adds blind spot avoidance while the top two trims get Blind View Monitor.
• Infotainment: Every gas-powered version gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and over-the-air updates are included. Navigation is built in only on the Luxury and Ultimate Calligraphy trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The ICE model is rated at 10.6 L/100 km combined, while the XRT returns 10.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe is offered in 3 trim levels: XRT, Luxury, and Ultimate Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• XRT: This is the most distinctive choice if you want the off-road-flavoured look, standard AWD, and the 2.5-litre turbo engine without stretching to the pricier trims. It is the best-value pick if you care more about capability and style than luxury extras.
• Luxury: This is the smart middle ground if you want built-in navigation and a more upscale feature set without jumping to the top trim.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the one to choose if you want the most equipment, including the digital rearview mirror, head-up display, Blind View Monitor, blind spot avoidance, and second-row captain’s chairs.

For safety, the top trim gets blind spot avoidance, and the top two trims get Blind View Monitor.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 277 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $44,207 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe's resale value?

The current average of $44,210 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,469 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. Strong equipment, broad appeal, and a distinctive design can help support demand, but resale will still depend on trim, condition, and mileage.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe safe?

The 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe earns a four-star overall safety rating from NHTSA and a Good rating from IIHS, with Acceptable results in the headlight and LATCH categories.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai makes a strong set of driver-assistance features standard, including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection, lane keeping and lane following assist, a driver attention monitor, and safe exit assist. Higher trims add rear parking collision avoidance assist, side park distance warning, Highway Drive Assist, blind spot avoidance, and Blind View Monitor.

The main caveat is that some useful safety tech is reserved for pricier trims, so you may need to shop higher in the range to get the full suite.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines bold styling with a longer wheelbase and strong technology.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $41,413 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $44,210 CAD average.
• It offers a bold redesign with a longer wheelbase and standard third-row seats.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the latest version of Hyundai’s bold design, strong tech, and a market that has softened from last year. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if you like the redesign and can live with the older model year.
