Is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Chevrolet Trax earns a 5/5 user rating, and it backs that up with a strong value-focused package. It stands out as a subcompact SUV that leans into space and everyday usability, while also offering a more modern look and a redesigned interior. You also get a strong equipment list for the money, including a touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, heated front seats, and Chevy Safety Assist.

That makes it a sensible fit if you want a compact, budget-friendly SUV with more rear passenger room and cargo capacity than before. 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Trax?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 597 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.35% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,796 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

The current average of $25,796 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,773 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. For a seller, the current trend suggests you may need to price competitively to move the vehicle. Strong value and broad appeal can still help keep demand steady.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Trax or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,901 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $25,796 CAD average.
• It offers a more modern redesign with strong style and technology.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $30,230 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $25,796 CAD average.
• It adds two new exterior colour options.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of value, equipment, and market availability. If price is your top priority, the 2024 is the better bargain, while the 2026 makes sense only if you specifically want the newer model-year pricing and updates.
