Used 2025 Chevrolet Trax for Sale near British Columbia

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Trax cost?

Prices have softened 9.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 607 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Chevrolet Trax earns a 5/5 user rating, and it leans hard into value, space, and everyday usability. Chevrolet has made it larger than the original model, with more rear passenger room and significantly more cargo capacity, while keeping a compact footprint that works well in the city. It also feels more substantial than its price suggests thanks to its modern styling and redesigned cabin. The market shows 31.0% of listings as good or great deals, which adds to its appeal if you want a practical small SUV at a competitive price.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trax is built around straightforward everyday use, with a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine, a six-speed automatic transmission, and a strong equipment list even in base form. Its appeal comes from practicality, efficiency, and value rather than complexity. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its safety record is mixed, so you should pay close attention to condition, maintenance history, and how the vehicle was used.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Trax?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding value.
• Inventory: There are 607 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,699 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

The current average of $25,699 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,500 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Trax is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can put some pressure on near-term resale expectations. If you buy at the right price, you may have less room for appreciation later, but the model’s value-focused positioning should still help it stay relevant with budget-conscious shoppers. Strong demand for practical, well-equipped small SUVs can support resale, especially if your vehicle is clean and well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Trax or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,849 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $25,699 CAD average.
• It introduced the Trax's major redesign and modern tech.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the Trax's value-focused formula while adding new exterior colour options.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2024 is the better value play, especially if you find a clean example with the features you want.
