Used 2025 Chevrolet Trax for Sale near Ontario

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Trax cost?

Prices have softened 11.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 545 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner approval for the 2025 Chevrolet Trax. It stands out as a subcompact SUV that leans hard into value, space, and everyday usability, with more rear passenger room and significantly more cargo capacity than the original model. It also brings a modern look and a redesigned interior, while keeping the focus on affordability and practicality. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Trax’s appeal comes from its value-focused formula, useful space, and straightforward equipment list rather than from a reputation for complexity. It uses a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a six-speed automatic transmission, and it does not offer all-wheel drive. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you should pay close attention to how well the vehicle has been maintained and whether its feature set matches your needs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Trax?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 545 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.39% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,921 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

The current average of $25,921 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,253 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Trax is currently in a softer resale position than it was a year ago, which can make it easier for you to buy but less favourable if you plan to sell soon. If the market stays competitive, future sellers may need to price carefully to stand out. The Trax’s value-focused positioning and broad appeal should still help it attract shoppers looking for an affordable, practical crossover.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Trax or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,830 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $25,921 CAD average.
• It offers a more modern feel with stylish design and good handling.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the same core formula while adding two new exterior colour options.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best fit if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, owner satisfaction, and everyday practicality. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2024 is the better value play, especially if you can live with its earlier-year compromises.
