Used 2024 Jeep Gladiator for Sale near Ontario

How much does the 2024 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 12.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 130 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Jeep Gladiator earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

It stands out as a pickup with removable doors and roof, plus a strong off-road focus that makes it appealing if you want something more adventurous than a conventional midsize truck. Jeep also updated this year’s model with minor styling revisions, added comfort and convenience features, and a new infotainment system.

The trade-offs are clear: the ride can be rough, the cabin gets noisy at speed, and the truck is not the most cost-effective choice if you mainly want a work-focused pickup. 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Gladiator is built around a proven 3.6-litre V6 and a familiar Jeep formula, which supports its reputation for durability in demanding use. The expert review also points to structural improvements for side-impact protection and added airbags in the roll cage, which are encouraging signs for long-term ownership confidence.

Jeep’s updates for 2024 also improve day-to-day usability, including a more modern infotainment system and added convenience features. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is that the truck’s rugged character comes with compromises in refinement and efficiency, so it rewards buyers who value its strengths more than its comfort.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Gladiator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport S, Willys, Mojave, and Rubicon are the core trims, with Mojave X and Rubicon X added for 2024. Base versions are more basic, while the higher trims add more comfort, convenience, and off-road hardware.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.6-litre V6 with 285 horsepower, paired with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. Efficiency is not a strength, so pay attention to how the truck was used.
• Safety package: Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability are standard. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors are added on the Mojave X and Rubicon X.
• Infotainment: The 12.3-inch touchscreen runs Uconnect 5, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth for two phones, over-the-air updates, SiriusXM 360L, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada figures suggest 12.3 L/100 km in combined driving, or 13.2 L/100 km with the manual transmission. In testing, the Mojave X averaged 16.9 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 6 trim levels: Sport S, Willys, Mojave, Rubicon, Mojave X, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport S: This is the entry point if you want the Gladiator’s open-air character and core capability without paying for the more specialised trims. It makes the most sense if you value the truck’s personality first and foremost.
• Willys: This trim is the better-value step up if you want a more rugged-feeling Gladiator without jumping all the way to the pricier off-road-focused versions.
• Mojave: This is the best-value choice if you want the strongest desert-running hardware and a more serious off-road setup. It adds the most distinctive capability in the lineup.
• Rubicon: Choose this if you want a more traditional Jeep off-road focus and expect to spend real time away from pavement.
• Mojave X: This is for buyers who want the Mojave’s capability plus more luxury and convenience equipment.
• Rubicon X: Pick this if you want the most fully equipped Rubicon variant with added comfort and premium touches.

The Mojave X and Rubicon X also add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors, which is worth noting if safety equipment matters to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Gladiator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 130 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,369 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $53,153 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,062 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale values to depend heavily on condition, trim, and equipment rather than on broad market momentum alone. Well-equipped versions with desirable features are likely to hold attention better than basic examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The Jeep Gladiator earns a three-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA, while IIHS is unimpressed with its headlights, seatbelt warnings, and pedestrian detection and protection systems.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability are standard. The Mojave X and Rubicon X add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors. Jeep also says the 2024 model has structural improvements for side-impact protection and side-curtain airbags integrated into the roll cage.

The main caveat is that the safety picture is still mixed, especially given the rollover rating and the lack of stronger crash-test results.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds minor styling revisions, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and new range-topping trims.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $44,298 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $53,153 CAD average.
• It blends Wrangler character with open-bed utility.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $54,872 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $53,153 CAD average.
• It adds a plug-in hybrid option and keeps the Gladiator’s open-air appeal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the updated infotainment, revised styling, and broader trim range. If price matters most, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the newest powertrain direction, the 2025 is worth a look.

2024 Jeep Gladiator:

• Pros: Doors off, roof off, open-air fun, Impressive off-roading capability, Commendable towing/hauling.

2024 Ford Bronco:

• Pros: Fun to drive, Comfortable, Plenty of cargo space.
• Cons: Poor fuel economy, No hybrid or plug-in hybrid option, Needs a cloth seat option.

Our experts score the 2024 Jeep Gladiator 7.3/10 and the 2024 Ford Bronco 6.8/10. The Gladiator is the more distinctive choice if you want removable doors and roof, plus stronger towing and hauling credentials. The Bronco looks better if you want a more comfortable daily driver with more cargo space. Both have poor fuel economy, so your decision comes down to whether you value the Gladiator’s open-air truck character or the Bronco’s broader comfort and practicality.
