This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and focused.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 276 listings available.

What is the 2022 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $62,798 CAD sits slightly below last year's $68,393 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the truck in strong condition and maintain it well, you should be better positioned when it comes time to sell. Demand should remain supported by the model’s capability and broad appeal to heavy-duty truck shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 RAM 3500 is the better pick if you want a well-liked heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price than it had a year ago. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years for the best deal, but the 2022 remains a strong primary target if you value satisfaction and current market value.
