Yes — the 2020 RAM 3500 earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The owner feedback also points to a truck that many drivers count on for serious towing and heavy-duty use. For used buyers, that means reliability can be strong overall, but you should pay close attention to maintenance history and inspection results before committing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 RAM 3500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 147 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.60% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $56,314 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $57,286 CAD sits slightly below last year's $58,220 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more selectively today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the truck has been maintained. Because demand is still supported by strong owner satisfaction, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2020 if you want a heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval, softer pricing than a year ago, and enough inventory to compare options. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2020 remains a compelling choice when you want capability and comfort in the same package.
