How much does the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus cost?

Prices have softened 15.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus a good car?

Yes — you get a 4.6/5 user rating and an expert score of 7.83/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

Drivers consistently praise the stylish design, smooth ride, quiet cabin, and advanced technology, while also noting the comfort and value of the features included. That lines up well with the Nautilus’s role as a five-passenger crossover SUV that leans into upscale presentation and a polished cabin rather than chasing the newest trends. For you, that means it makes the most sense if you want a comfortable, luxury-focused SUV with familiar mechanicals and a relaxed personality.

Only 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable, comfortable, and easy to live with over time, with many owners highlighting the quiet cabin and smooth ride as reasons they trust it for regular use. The expert drive notes also reinforce that impression by describing the Nautilus as comfortable and cozy in everyday driving, with proven mechanicals underneath its upscale bodywork. Lincoln’s continuous improvement programme also suggests a model that has aged with care rather than one that has simply been left behind.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether the premium features and performance you want are worth the higher running-cost expectations that can come with a luxury SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Lincoln Nautilus?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Canadian market gets the Reserve trim, and the cabin presentation is a major part of the appeal. Look closely at the upscale exterior details and the mid-century modern interior, but also inspect the centre console and chrome-plated plastic pieces, which were noted as less convincing than the rest of the cabin.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. A twin-turbocharged 2.7-litre V6 with 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque is available for more power, and it is the better choice if you want stronger passing performance.
• Safety package: Every model gets Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.0, which includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Black Label adds Co-Pilot360 1.0 Plus with adaptive cruise control, lane-centring assistance, evasive steering assist, a surround-view camera system, and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: You get a 13.2-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, Bluetooth, Lincoln Connect, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and SiriusXM 360L. The system is well laid out, and the physical stereo and climate controls are a plus.
• Fuel efficiency: The twin-turbo V6 has an official Natural Resources Canada rating of 11.2 L/100 km combined, with 12.6 L/100 km in the city and 9.3 L/100 km on the highway. It has a 68-litre fuel tank.

Which 2022 Lincoln Nautilus trim should I buy?

The 2022 Lincoln Nautilus is offered in 1 trim level: Reserve.

Here's the short version:

• Reserve: This is the only Canadian trim, so it is automatically the one to focus on. It gives you the Nautilus’s upscale design, strong feature content, and luxury-oriented cabin, making it the clear choice if you want the full Nautilus experience without having to sort through multiple trim steps.

The safety package note is straightforward: every 2022 Nautilus gets Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.0, while Black Label adds Co-Pilot360 1.0 Plus.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Lincoln Nautilus?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 132 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.05% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,688 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus's resale value?

The current average of $33,688 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,656 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help future sellers understand where buyer expectations are headed. If you own one now, the softer pricing means you may need to be more competitive when it comes time to list. On the other hand, the Nautilus’s upscale image, comfort, and feature-rich cabin can still support demand among shoppers looking for a luxury SUV with a relaxed driving character.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus safe?

The 2022 Nautilus earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2022 Nautilus has Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.0, which includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Black Label adds Co-Pilot360 1.0 Plus, which brings adaptive cruise control, lane-centring assistance, evasive steering assist, a surround-view camera system, and rear parking sensors.

The main caveat is that the standard package is already broad, but some of the more advanced assistance features are reserved for Black Label.

Should I buy a 2022 Lincoln Nautilus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 stands out for its upscale exterior, mid-century modern interior, and continuous improvement that helps it feel well cared for despite its age.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a smart pick if you want the Nautilus’s luxury feel, strong feature content, and softer used pricing in a single package. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep shopping the market closely and focus on listings near the low end of the range, because that is where the best value is most likely to show up.
