Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Edge?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value if you move on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 432 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.77% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,293 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Edge's resale value?

The current average of $25,293 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,333 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale. On one hand, it may help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. On the other, it suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can limit near-term appreciation if you plan to sell soon.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Edge or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-liked used SUV with strong owner feedback and a decent chance of finding a fair deal, the 2022 is a sensible place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a slightly older or newer example gives you a better balance of price and availability.
