How much does the 2022 Jeep Cherokee cost?

There are 317 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Jeep Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its strong performance, comfortable ride, responsive handling, and classic style. That makes it a good fit if you want a compact SUV with more character than a typical family crossover, while still keeping everyday comfort and useful features in the mix. With 33.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a decent amount of market value to explore.

Is the 2022 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a dependable ownership experience, with owners focusing on the Cherokee’s strong performance, comfortable ride, and desirable features rather than recurring complaints. That kind of feedback suggests the vehicle can be a trouble-free choice for buyers who prioritise confidence over the long haul.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been well maintained and thoroughly test-driven before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 317 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.16% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,111 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $26,180 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,602 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Cherokee has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than the one seen a year ago. If you buy at today's average, your resale outlook will depend heavily on how well the vehicle is maintained and how competitively it is priced when you decide to sell. The fact that the model still attracts strong owner approval helps support demand, even as prices have eased.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Cherokee is the better pick if you want a well-equipped version of this generation with strong owner approval and a market that has become more buyer-friendly. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2022 stands out as a balanced choice when you want a newer used Cherokee with solid value and broad appeal.
