Used 2022 Jeep Cherokee for Sale near Ontario

How much does the 2022 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 18.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 331 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice if you want to compare trims and condition.

Is the 2022 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Jeep Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its strong performance, comfortable ride, and desirable features, and they also like its responsive handling and classic style. For you, that makes it a good fit if you want a compact SUV with Jeep character, all-weather traction, and a more feature-rich setup than earlier versions of this generation. With 34.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also leans toward dependable day-to-day ownership, with owners highlighting a trouble-free feel in the way they describe the vehicle’s performance and comfort. That said, you should still approach a used example carefully, because this generation has a history that makes a thorough inspection and test drive important for long-term ownership risk.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Jeep Cherokee?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 331 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,185 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $26,185 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,059 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. Strong demand can still support resale, especially for shoppers who want a Jeep-branded SUV with a more distinctive look and useful features.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better pick if you want the most complete version of this generation’s Cherokee with strong owner approval and a more attractive used-market price than it had a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2022 stands out as the more compelling balance of features, satisfaction, and current value.
