Is the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially because they value its comfort, fuel economy, and capability. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a strong ownership experience does not fully erase the need to verify how each individual example has been maintained.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 535 listings available.

What is the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport's resale value?

The current average of $24,806 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,865 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably now, but it also means future resale values may reflect a market that has already adjusted downward. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should be realistic about appreciation and focus on buying a well-kept example at a sensible price.

Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to resell, especially for shoppers who want a compact SUV with personality and capability. Well-maintained examples should remain easier to market than less distinctive alternatives.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,627 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $24,806 CAD average.
• It offers lively, capable, and attractive everyday-versus-weekend versatility.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the better value-focused alternative, especially if you find one in good condition.
