Used 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe for Sale nearSmiths Falls, ON

How much does the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe cost?

Prices have softened 14.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 385 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe earns a strong 4.85/5 from owners. Reviewers consistently point to its excellent value, numerous tech features, comfortable ride, spacious interior, and advanced safety features. That lines up well with its role as a do-all midsize SUV with three-row seating, useful packaging, and a broad mix of trims and equipment. The market also shows 28.6% of listings as good or great deals, which supports its appeal for shoppers comparing value across the segment.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe reliable?

Owners rate it 4.85/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centred on comfort, value, and the sense that it can be counted on day to day. Some reviews do mention the base engine feeling weak and a bit of turbo noise, but those comments are more about refinement than durability. For used buyers, that suggests the bigger long-term ownership risk is choosing a version that feels underpowered for your needs rather than worrying about broad reliability concerns.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 385 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,007 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe's resale value?

The current average of $26,038 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,615 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Santa Fe more attractive to used buyers today but less favourable for sellers trying to maximise return. If you buy now, the softer pricing may help you avoid paying peak-market money. If you plan to resell later, the current trend implies you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.85/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.85/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $30,048 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $26,038 CAD average.
• It carries over with minor updates and a small horsepower bump.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better pick if you want the stronger value proposition and more room to negotiate. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2022 makes more sense; if you want the newer model year and don’t mind paying more, the 2023 is the alternative to compare.
