How much does the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe cost?

There are 391 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of choice in the market.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe earns a 4.85/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its excellent value, numerous tech features, and comfortable ride. You also get a spacious interior and advanced safety features, which fit well if you want a practical family SUV with useful everyday flexibility. With 33.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe reliable?

Owners rate it 4.85/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, with praise centred on value, comfort, and the way the vehicle holds up as a family hauler. That said, some drivers mention engine noise and weaker power in the base model, so it is worth paying attention to how a used example has been maintained and driven. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is ending up with a higher-mileage example that has not been cared for as consistently as the rating suggests.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 391 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,961 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe's resale value?

The current average of $25,973 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,015 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Santa Fe easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your return will depend more on condition, mileage, and trim than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still attract interest because the model has a strong reputation for value and practicality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.85/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.85/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,890 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $25,973 CAD average.
• It carries over with minor updates and a small horsepower increase.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better value if you want the strongest mix of price, owner satisfaction, and deal availability. If you are less price-sensitive and want the newer model year, the 2023 is the cleaner alternative, but you will pay more for only modest changes.
