• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 89 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.89% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Toyota Venza's resale value?

The current average of $33,845 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,983 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Venza has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help keep demand steady if you decide to sell later. A softer market today may mean less upside than in a rising-price environment, but it can also broaden the pool of shoppers who see value in the model. Because the Venza has strong owner satisfaction and a clear efficiency advantage, it should remain appealing to buyers who prioritise comfort and fuel economy.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Venza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines standard hybrid efficiency with standard all-wheel drive and strong safety coverage.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $32,265 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $33,845 CAD average.
• It introduced the Venza’s premium hybrid-only formula with standard AWD.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $39,623 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $33,845 CAD average.
• It keeps the upscale style and efficiency focus while leaning further into comfort.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price movement, inventory, and the Venza’s core strengths, the 2022 is the sensible pick. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2021 is worth a look; if you want to spend more for a newer alternative, the 2023 remains the cleaner upscale choice.
