Used 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe for Sale nearBrantford, ON

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe cost?

Prices have softened 11.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 473 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating and 8.17/10 expert rating point to a strong overall showing. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

The 2024 Santa Fe stands out for its bold redesign, longer wheelbase, standard third-row seats, and “terrace” approach to passenger and cargo space. That makes it especially appealing if you want an SUV that feels more distinctive without giving up everyday practicality.

The trade-offs are worth noting: the third row is cramped, performance is pedestrian, and top trims get expensive. Even so, the combination of style, features, and a more premium feel gives it broad appeal.

Good and great deals account for 33.6% of listings, which is a decent sign that you can still find value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Santa Fe’s reliability case is helped by its standard all-wheel drive, broad feature set, and the fact that Hyundai has built in a lot of everyday usability from the start. The powertrain lineup is straightforward, and the hybrid and gas versions both use conventional automatic transmissions rather than more complex setups.

Its driver-monitoring system is also a notable dependability feature, since it can warn you if you are not paying attention and can bring the vehicle to a stop if it senses an emergency. Hyundai also includes a first scheduled maintenance visit on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a highly equipped SUV can be more expensive to keep up if you choose a top trim.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred trim includes a strong standard safety suite, but higher trims add more convenience and luxury features. If you want the best value, the Preferred with the Trend package stands out for adding a long list of desirable equipment.
• Powertrain: In Canada, the hybrid powertrain is the entry-level choice on Preferred models and the gas-only 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder is reserved for upper trims. The hybrid is rated at 6.8 L/100 km city, 6.9 highway, and 6.9 combined, while the gas engine is rated at 12.1 city, 8.8 highway, and 10.6 combined.
• Safety package: The base Preferred trim includes a reversing camera, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, forward collision-avoidance assist, intersection assist, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic emergency braking, safe-exit assist, lane-keep assist, lane-following assist, driver-attention monitoring with hands-off alert, and a rear-occupant reminder system. Higher trims add more advanced camera and parking features.
• Infotainment: The cabin centres on a curved panoramic display, and wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto come standard across the lineup. The system also includes a 12-speaker Bose stereo, dynamic voice recognition, and six USB ports.
• Fuel efficiency: The hybrid is the most efficient choice at 6.8 L/100 km city, 6.9 highway, and 6.9 combined. The gas powertrain uses 12.1 L/100 km city, 8.8 highway, and 10.6 combined, while the XRT is rated at 12.2 city, 9.1 highway, and 10.8 combined.

Which 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is offered in 5 trim levels: Preferred, Preferred with Trend package, XRT, Luxury, Ultimate Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the starting point, and it already brings a strong safety package plus wireless smartphone integration. It makes sense if you want the Santa Fe’s redesign and core tech without stretching the budget.
• Preferred with Trend package: This is the best-value choice for most Canadians. It adds the more fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain plus 20-inch alloy wheels, leatherette upholstery, a dual-pane power sunroof, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless charging pad, third-row USB ports, Hyundai Digital Key, and upgraded ultrasonic rear occupant alert.
• XRT: Choose this if you want the more rugged-looking version with dark chrome, black cladding and trim, off-road modes, extra ground clearance, and all-terrain tires. It is the trim to consider if you plan to head beyond paved roads more often.
• Luxury: This trim adds a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot view monitor, rain-sensing windshield wipers, parking sensors, reverse parking collision assist, and remote automatic parking. It is a strong step up if convenience and parking assistance matter to you.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the most luxurious version, with 21-inch wheels, a widescreen head-up display, and upgraded blind-spot and forward collision avoidance systems. It suits you if you want the most premium Santa Fe experience and are comfortable paying for it.

Higher trims also bring additional safety and driver-assistance upgrades, including the expanded camera and parking features noted above.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 473 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,237 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe's resale value?

The current average of $41,237 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,696 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you are planning to resell later, the current trend shows that value can move quickly when supply is healthy and shoppers have choices.

The Santa Fe’s strong feature content and broad appeal should help it remain attractive to used buyers, especially if you choose a well-equipped trim. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe safe?

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe has not yet been crash-tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The base Preferred trim includes a reversing camera, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, forward collision-avoidance assist, intersection assist, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic emergency braking, safe-exit assist, lane-keep assist, lane-following assist, driver-attention monitoring with hands-off alert, and a rear-occupant reminder system.

Higher trims add an upgraded rear-occupant reminder system, forward-attention warning, side-view mirrors with turn signals, a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot view monitor, rain-sensing windshield wipers, parking sensors, reverse parking collision assist, remote automatic parking, a widescreen head-up display, and upgraded blind-spot and forward collision avoidance systems.

One notable strength is that Hyundai made driver monitoring standard across the lineup, using an infrared camera and steering-wheel sensors to track alertness and hand placement.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesign brings a bolder look, standard third-row seating, and a more premium-feeling cabin.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,890 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $41,237 CAD average.
• It remains a strong-value two-row SUV with standard safety features and easy-to-use technology.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $44,132 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $41,237 CAD average.
• It adds more interior space and a more fashionable, high-tech family-SUV feel.

The bottom line: If you want the newest design, standard third-row seating, and the strongest mix of style and tech, the 2024 is the one to target. If your priority is lower purchase price, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want the freshest take on the Santa Fe formula, the 2025 is worth a look.
