Used 2020 Kia Sorento for Sale near Ontario

How much does the 2020 Kia Sorento cost?

Prices have softened 15.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 401 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Kia Sorento a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Kia Sorento earns a 5/5 user rating, and it fits well if you want a practical, value-focused midsize SUV with family-friendly flexibility. The overview points to a more substantial third-generation design with improved interior quality, more passenger space, and a broad spread of equipment and powertrains, so you can choose the setup that best matches your needs. It also stands out as one of the more affordable ways to get a three-row SUV, which strengthens its appeal if you want versatility without moving up in size or price.

With 32.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers a meaningful number of attractive opportunities.

Is the 2020 Kia Sorento reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a vehicle built around practicality and flexibility, with a broad equipment spread and a mature third-generation platform. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing the wrong powertrain for your needs, since the base four-cylinder is described as too weak for the larger Sorento and the V6 trades efficiency for stronger performance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Kia Sorento?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 401 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.64% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,671 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $17,775 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,069 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you buy at today’s lower average, you may have less room for appreciation, so condition, mileage, and equipment will matter more when it comes time to resell. A well-kept example with the right configuration should still appeal to shoppers looking for a practical three-row SUV at a lower entry price.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Sorento makes the most sense if you want a value-oriented three-row SUV with a strong mix of space, flexibility, and current market pricing. If your priority is finding the lowest possible asking price, a nearby model year may still be worth comparing, but the 2020 stands out as the better all-around choice when you want a more modern-feeling used Sorento without stretching your budget too far.
