Yes — the 2019 Kia Sorento earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfortable ride, spacious interior, and great value, and many also like the third-row seating and how smooth it feels on the road. Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Kia Sorento?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 369 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,344 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $15,344 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,642 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Sorento has become more accessible for buyers, which can also mean future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at today’s lower average, you may have less downside risk than someone who bought when prices were higher. The model’s broad appeal as a practical family SUV should help support demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Sorento is the better choice if you want a well-rounded used midsize SUV with strong value, a roomy cabin, and a market that still offers some deal potential. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2019 stands out as a balanced pick when you want more features and family usefulness without stretching your budget too far.
