How much does the 2019 Nissan Sentra cost?

There are 149 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2019 Nissan Sentra a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Nissan Sentra earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction for a compact sedan focused on value. Owners commonly praise its value, comfort, smooth driving experience, technology features, and fuel economy. That lines up well with its role as an easygoing daily driver for shoppers who want a practical, affordable compact sedan rather than something sporty. With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s still meaningful opportunity to find a well-priced example.

Is the 2019 Nissan Sentra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many people find dependable for everyday use, especially when it comes to value, comfort, and a smooth driving experience. The emphasis on fuel economy and sensible ownership also suggests a model that many buyers can count on for routine commuting. For used shoppers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you should be selective about condition and maintenance history, especially on higher-mileage examples.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Sentra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 149 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.33% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,835 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Sentra's resale value?

The current average of $11,836 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,671 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Sentra has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer resale environment than they would have a year ago. If you buy now, the lower entry price can help offset some depreciation risk, especially if you plan to keep the car for several years. A well-kept example with strong service records should still be easier to move than one with visible wear or incomplete maintenance history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Sentra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Sentra makes the most sense if you want a straightforward, value-focused compact sedan and you like the idea of buying into a year with softer pricing. If you’re more price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a slightly older example offers a lower entry point with similar everyday usability.
