There are 152 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Nissan Sentra a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Nissan Sentra earns a 4.57/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners most often praise its value, comfort, smooth driving experience, technology features, and fuel economy. That lines up well with its role as a practical compact sedan for easygoing daily driving, especially if you want something sensible and affordable rather than sporty. With 38.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2019 Nissan Sentra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many people find dependable for everyday use, with value, comfort, and fuel economy coming through as recurring strengths. That said, you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and how the car has aged, especially if you plan to keep it for the long term. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been cared for consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Sentra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 152 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,101 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Sentra's resale value?

The current average of $12,118 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,672 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you own one, the softer pricing trend means resale value may stay under pressure unless your car stands out for condition, mileage, and service history. On the other hand, a lower entry price can help you reduce depreciation exposure if you buy carefully today.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Sentra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Sentra makes the most sense if you want a practical, comfort-focused compact sedan and you value a lower asking price in today’s market. If you’re price-sensitive, this year is worth a close look because the market has softened and there are still plenty of listings to compare. If you want a newer-generation feel or a broader safety and design update, it can also be smart to consider a different year.
