What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class's resale value?

The current average of $43,366 CAD sits slightly below last year's $44,658 CAD.

That kind of softening suggests future sellers may need to price competitively if they want to move the car quickly. It also means you may have a bit more room to negotiate now than you would have a year ago. Even so, the model’s premium image and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-equipped luxury mid-size car with strong owner approval and a softer price trend, the 2019 is a sensible place to focus your search. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced example better fits your budget.
