Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Kia Forte?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 244 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.35% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,682 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Kia Forte's resale value?

The current average of $13,682 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,609 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer resale environment than someone who bought earlier. If you plan to own the car for several years, the current pricing can work in your favour on the purchase side. If you expect to sell sooner, it helps to focus on well-kept examples with strong service records and desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Kia Forte or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Kia Forte makes the most sense if you want a well-liked used compact car with solid value and a market that currently favours patient shoppers. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may also want to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-priced, best-maintained example rather than the year alone.
