OK car, but tail lights keep going out and a headlight just went out.

So if you go with the forte and it says Apple car play or Android auto. Bring a cable and actually make sure! Ours said it and it didnt have it. We couldnt do a map upgrade and get it, cause our 2017 does not have navigation. If it did, the update wouldve worked.

This is my second Kia and it will be my last! Got the Forte and the dim lights stopped working, just like a LOT of other Fortes! So dangerous but no recall????????????????

With 25% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to find a competitive price if you compare carefully.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Kia Forte?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and price-aware.
- Deal availability: 25% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 148 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 7.95% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $10,277 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2017 Kia Forte's resale value?
The current average of $10,937 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,882 CAD.
That softer pricing suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make the Forte easier to shop now than it was a year ago. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in good condition, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. For a future seller, the current trend points to a market that still rewards well-priced examples more than average ones.
Should I buy a 2017 Kia Forte or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2017 if:

- Price trend: Prices have softened 7.95% compared with last year.
The bottom line:
The 2017 is a reasonable primary target if you want a used Forte with a softer price trend and enough listings to compare. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may also want to look at nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
