This vehicle is a great value. The safety features that come with it are better than most higher priced vehicles. It has lane assist to keep your car in between the line, alerts when you drive on a line, alerts for backing and collision. The gas mileage is great, smooth ride. Couldnt ask for more in 2019, $13,200 vehicle.

Is the 2019 Kia Forte a good car?
Yes — the 2019 Kia Forte earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its safety features, great gas mileage, and comfortable ride, and many also see it as a strong value compared with pricier alternatives. The market currently shows 33.9% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile options to consider.
Is the 2019 Kia Forte reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with comments that suggest you can count on it for everyday use. For used buyers, that kind of long-term confidence lowers the risk of unpleasant surprises if the vehicle has been maintained properly.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Kia Forte?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.
- Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 242 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 9.79% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $13,424 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2019 Kia Forte's resale value?
The current average of $13,424 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,880 CAD.
That softer pricing can be good news if you're buying now, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if prices stay under pressure. If values stabilise, today's lower entry point could help support demand from budget-conscious shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2019 Kia Forte or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2019 if:
- 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 9.79% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction and current market value, the 2019 is the primary year to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2019 stands out for shoppers who want a well-liked car with meaningful deal availability.
