Should I buy a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.39/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $26,019 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $23,850 CAD average.
• It adds a fresh redesign direction soon after this generation’s long run.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2019 is the stronger starting point because pricing has eased and inventory is healthy. If you’re willing to pay more for the next model year’s newer positioning, the 2020 is the alternative to compare, but price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2019 first.
