Should I buy a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $25,538 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $23,731 CAD average.
• It stays familiar rather than getting a major redesign.

The bottom line:
The 2019 is the better value if you want a lower entry price and strong owner satisfaction. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer model year, the 2020 is worth a look, but price-sensitive buyers will likely find the 2019 easier to justify.
