This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some leverage if you're patient.

• Deal availability: 25.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 218 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.24% compared with last year.

What is the 2019 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $21,266 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,694 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also temper near-term resale upside for future sellers. If you plan to own it for a few years, the current pricing gives you a more favourable entry point than last year. Strong owner satisfaction should help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.43/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 25.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,282 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $21,266 CAD average.
• It offers a driver-focused feel with strong everyday practicality.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,396 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $21,266 CAD average.
• It adds polished styling and useful tech with a huge back seat and giant trunk.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and current market value, the 2019 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2018 is the better secondary option because it undercuts the current-year average while keeping the Accord’s core strengths intact.
