This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 209 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.41% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,447 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $20,447 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,344 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably now, but it also means future resale expectations should be measured rather than aggressive. If you plan to sell later, the current market suggests you may not recover as much as a buyer paid a year ago. Even so, the Accord’s strong reputation and broad appeal should help it remain easy to move when the time comes.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $18,981 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $20,447 CAD average.
• It offers a sporty, well-rounded take on the Accord formula.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $21,911 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $20,447 CAD average.
• It adds a more polished feel with useful tech and a huge back seat.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want strong owner satisfaction, good deal availability, and a lower average price than the newer model year. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better value path; if you want to spend more for a slightly newer option, the 2020 is the natural upgrade.
