Is the 2019 Honda Accord a good car?

Generally — the 2019 Honda Accord earns 4.4/5, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its stylish design, luxurious interior, excellent reliability, smooth ride quality, and comfortable, spacious cockpit. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy family sedan that still feels polished and pleasant to drive. With 30.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights excellent reliability, and many drivers describe the car as dependable and trouble-free over time. That lines up well with shoppers who want a used sedan they can count on for long-term ownership. For used buyers, the main risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained well, especially given known HVAC and AC compressor concerns on this generation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 224 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.47% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,387 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $20,387 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,291 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you purchase at today’s average, resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Strong demand should still help support values, especially because this model has a good reputation with owners.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $18,778 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $20,387 CAD average.
• It feels fresh and rewarding to drive.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $21,973 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $20,387 CAD average.
• It adds easy-to-use tech and a larger-feeling cabin.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-liked Accord at a softened market price. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better value play; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling package, the 2020 is worth a look.
