Is the 2017 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth driving experience, great fuel economy, and comfortable interior, while the overall character is geared toward practicality and everyday ease of use. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a well-rounded family sedan that is pleasant to live with day to day. With 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also highlights reliability and a trouble-free ownership experience, which supports the Accord’s reputation as a car you can count on. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained well, since any older sedan can develop age-related wear over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 153 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.61% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $16,545 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $16,545 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,509 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the Accord’s broad appeal should help, but you should still expect depreciation to remain part of the ownership equation. Strong demand for well-kept examples can support value, especially when the car has a good reputation with owners.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Honda Accord or consider a different year?
