Used 2017 Kia Sorento for Sale nearKelowna, BC

How much does the 2017 Kia Sorento cost?

Prices have softened 16.18% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 262 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2017 Kia Sorento a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Kia Sorento earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which is a strong sign that owners are broadly satisfied with it. The owner feedback points to a smooth ride, a stylish interior, and strong comfort, especially with the V6. It also fits well if you want a well-rounded midsize SUV with more passenger space, a more polished cabin, and useful family-friendly features. The market also shows 27.9% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Kia Sorento reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also leans toward dependable day-to-day use, with many drivers describing the Sorento as comfortable and trouble-free enough to live with over the long term. That said, some owners mentioned occasional engine issues, so you should still pay close attention to service records and how the vehicle has been maintained. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure any past mechanical concerns were addressed before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Kia Sorento?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 262 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.18% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,624 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $12,752 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,213 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Sorento easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at the current average, your future resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Because the model has softened over the past year, a clean example bought at the right price should be easier to move later than one purchased at the top of the range.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 Sorento is the better pick if you want a more refined midsize SUV with strong owner approval and a market that currently favours careful shoppers. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced example offers similar equipment and condition for less money.
