2017 Kia Sorento Reviews, Pricing & Specs
What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2017 Kia Sorento are quite pleased with their vehicles, often highlighting the smooth ride and stylish interior. Many appreciated the comfort and power, especially with the V6 engine option. However, some noted that the third row can be cramped and not very accessible, which might be a downside for larger families. Additionally, while some owners love the infotainment system and comfort features, others wished for a bigger screen and experienced occasional engine issues."
I love the car overall, great for my family and I. One thing I don’t like about it, on cold days I can’t start my car up and go back in the house! The doors won’t stay locked but other than that, no issues!
February 10, 2025Have not received the car yet. It is yet to be delivered. But everything we have read and watched has been very positive about this car. Everyone keeps comparing the third row seats and less luggage storage to other larger vehicles. We keep saying, this is a cross over, not a minivan. If you want a third row with lots of extra luggage space, buy a minivan not a cross over. I am sure we will love the car!
August 2, 2020Very nice car. Rides as good as a Lexus. Has more power than I expected for a 4 cylinder. Handles well.

May 25, 2021The Sorento handles well and has wonderful safety features. Plenty of room but still economical.
July 15, 2022It rides incredibly smooth, the interior is beautiful, the engine is quiet, and the sound system is excellent. I drove a Hyundai Sante Fe, Chevy Traverse, and a Buick Enclave before deciding on this car and it was by far the best ride out of all of them.
September 29, 2021Absolutely gorgeous vehicle! Great on gas mileage, very comfortable ride.
June 1, 2021We love our Sorento! It’s so comfortable and it rides very well. Very happy with it.
May 15, 2023I wish the screen was bigger. But otherwise great deal
March 4, 2022Drives amazing! 3rd row really comes in handy if you have a family
January 22, 2021Have had good experience with Sedona and Optima...the Sorento SX is nicely equipped, optional AWD, solid infotainment, nice ride. Good at a lot, not really great at any one thing...but all around a good value for the V6 SX.
