Is the 2014 Lexus RX a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Lexus RX earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. That fits the RX’s role as a quiet, comfortable luxury SUV for you if you want refinement and everyday ease over flash or outright performance. Is the 2014 Lexus RX reliable?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Lexus RX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 70 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,879 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $17,879 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,753 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RX has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than they would have a year ago. If you buy at today’s average, you may have less room for appreciation in the near term, so condition and maintenance history matter even more. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because the RX’s comfort and reputation continue to support demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
