How much does the 2014 Lexus RX cost?

There are 68 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory for shoppers comparing options.

Is the 2014 Lexus RX a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Lexus RX earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, reliability, and luxurious features, and many also call out the smooth ride and good value for a luxury SUV. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a premium SUV that feels easy to live with rather than sporty or demanding. With 25% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Lexus RX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights reliability, dependability, and trouble-free ownership, which are exactly the traits many used luxury SUV shoppers want. That said, some buyers noted concerns around vehicle history and maintenance transparency, so you should still review service records closely. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about the RX’s core durability and more about buying one with incomplete maintenance history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Lexus RX?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 25% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 68 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.09% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,896 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $18,071 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,793 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you are buying now, but it also means future resale upside may be more measured than in a stronger market. If you plan to sell later, the current discount suggests there is still some room for values to stabilise before they rebound. Even so, the RX’s reputation for comfort and durability should help it remain appealing to used buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 25% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a comfortable, proven luxury SUV and you find a well-priced 2014, it is a sensible choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a similar RX offers a better mix of price and inventory, but the 2014 remains the straightforward pick for buyers who value comfort and long-term dependability.
