Used 2019 Lexus RX for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2019 Lexus RX cost?

Prices have softened 8.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 98 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2019 Lexus RX a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Lexus RX earns a 5/5 user rating, and that lines up with what owners repeatedly praise: comfort, luxurious features, and a smooth ride. The user feedback also highlights the value of its all-wheel drive and the confidence that comes with strong reliability. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a refined luxury SUV that prioritises daily comfort and family-friendly usability over flash. With 40.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Lexus RX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to reliability as one of the RX’s core strengths, with drivers specifically valuing how dependable it feels over time. That kind of trouble-free reputation is a major reason many used buyers keep the RX on their shortlist. For used shoppers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about mechanical confidence and more about finding one that has been maintained well and priced appropriately.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lexus RX?

This looks like a favourable buyer’s market if you are shopping for a used 2019 Lexus RX.

• Deal availability: 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 98 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.78% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,733 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $34,017 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,293 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RX has become a bit more accessible for buyers, which can narrow the gap between what you pay now and what a future buyer may be willing to pay later. Even so, the model’s reputation for comfort and reliability helps support demand in the used market. Because the RX has a strong following, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than many luxury SUVs with weaker owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $38,122 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $34,017 CAD average.
• It adds two-row and three-row flexibility.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and a strong ownership reputation. If you are willing to spend more for added seating flexibility, the 2020 is the better alternative; if not, the 2019 is the smarter buy for price-conscious shoppers.
