Inside, the Macan drew inspiration from other Porsche models, offering a sporty and upscale cabin with red leather, gloss black trim, and silver metallic accents.

In contrast, the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid offered a bold and stylish presence in the Canadian market, available in two trims: Luxury and Ultimate Calligraphy. The Palisade Hybrid integrated seamlessly into the gas-only lineup, featuring a massive grille, LED projector headlights, and distinctive LED daytime running lights. The rear design was equally impressive, with wide-spaced letters and LED taillights. Inside, the Palisade Hybrid boasted a thoughtfully crafted interior with organic shapes and high-quality materials. The cabin offered a rich feeling of craftsmanship, with features like H-Tex synthetic leatherette upholstery, power-adjustable seats, and a range of comfort-enhancing options, making it a standout choice among non-luxury crossovers.

The 2022 Porsche Macan offered a range of powertrains, with the base Macan and Macan T featuring a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing 261 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The Macan GTS inherited the 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 from the previous Macan Turbo, delivering 434 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Our Macan S test car was equipped with a twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6, generating 375 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package. The Macan's seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and fully variable all-wheel-drive system contributed to its dynamic performance. The 2022 Macan also featured re-tuned steering and suspension, larger standard wheels, and optional performance upgrades, ensuring an exhilarating driving experience.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid defied the stereotype of sluggish hybrids with its impressive performance. It featured a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors and a 1.65-kWh battery, producing a combined 329 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque. The Palisade Hybrid's advanced eight-speed automatic transmission and next-generation hybrid system optimized power delivery and fuel efficiency.
