How much does the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 9.20% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport earns an expert rating of 7.00/10.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

It fits best if you want a stylish, more road-focused alternative to the traditional Range Rover, with a sportier personality and multiple powertrain options. The trade-offs are clear: the value proposition is weak, and the technology can feel unintuitive. Even so, the market shows 32.4% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is presented as a premium SUV with a familiar luxury presence and a more athletic feel, but it also carries the usual caution that comes with a high-end Land Rover product. The expert review notes that the platform delivers impressive comfort and refinement, and the powertrain range gives you flexibility across trims.

The performance notes also point to a calm, confident demeanour rather than a frenetic one, which can be a good sign for everyday drivability. Land Rover’s warranty coverage includes a four-year/80,000-kilometre new-vehicle warranty and roadside assistance over the same period, which helps soften ownership risk a bit.

For used buyers, the bigger long-term concern is that expensive luxury-SUV ownership can become costly if repairs or maintenance are needed outside the warranty window.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, Autobiography, and SV Edition Two. The base trim gets the core luxury look and standard driver-assist coverage, while higher trims add more performance and exclusivity.
• Powertrain: You can find multiple powertrain options, including a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six, plug-in hybrid versions, and a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8. The model is standard 4WD and uses an eight-speed automatic transmission.
• Safety package: The standard driver-assist suite includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a driver attention monitor. The standard 360-degree camera system also helps with parking.
• Infotainment: You get a 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.1-inch touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa integration. The system is responsive, but the minimalist layout can make some functions less intuitive.
• Fuel efficiency: The base six-cylinder powertrain is rated at 11.1 L/100 km combined, while the V8 uses 12.6 L/100 km combined. The SV Edition Two is rated at 13.1 L/100 km combined, and plug-in hybrids are rated at 11.0 L/100 km combined after electric range is used up.

Which 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport trim should I buy?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is offered in 4 trim levels: Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, Autobiography, and SV Edition Two.

Here's the short version:

• Dynamic SE: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the Range Rover Sport’s style, standard 4WD, and full driver-assist coverage without chasing the pricier performance trims.
• Dynamic HSE: This trim adds another step up in equipment and is the sensible middle ground if you want more content without jumping to the top end.
• Autobiography: Choose this if you want the available plug-in hybrid powertrain and the added off-road hardware that includes a two-speed transfer case with low range.
• SV Edition Two: This is the performance flagship, with the most powerful engine, the most aggressive hardware, and the most exclusive presentation.

All models include the standard driver-assistance suite from the base SE trim level on up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 74 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.20% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $114,643 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $114,643 CAD sits slightly below last year's $126,264 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers than it was a year ago. If you plan to sell later, you should expect the Range Rover Sport to remain a premium-name vehicle, but its resale performance will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim. The softer pricing trend also means future sellers may need to be realistic if they want to stay competitive.

Is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport safe?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard driver-assistance suite includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a driver attention monitor. A standard 360-degree camera system also helps with parking, and the digital rearview mirror can improve visibility.

One caveat is that the standard parking sensors are described as overly sensitive, and the tall hood can make forward visibility more challenging than you might expect. That means the camera system is especially useful in daily driving and tight parking situations.

Should I buy a 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.20% compared with last year.
• It appeals to you as a stylish, more road-focused Range Rover Sport with minimal changes from the prior year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a more extreme SV Carbon version and pushes further upmarket.

The bottom line: If you want the current model-year formula and a softer used-market price, the 2025 is the better buy. If you’re chasing the newest high-performance version and don’t mind paying more, the 2026 is the one to watch. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2025’s lower average price and stronger deal availability make it the easier recommendation.
