Is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Generally — the 4.2/5 user rating suggests you can feel reasonably confident if you want a luxury SUV with strong performance and a smooth ride. Owners commonly praise its powerful performance, luxurious features, comfort, and smooth ride, and the overview also points to genuine off-road ability and a high-end cabin. If you want a refined, capable SUV that feels special on the road and in difficult conditions, this model year fits that brief well. With 32.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling driving experience for many shoppers, with praise centred on comfort, performance, and a trouble-free ownership impression for some drivers. At the same time, the overview flags maintenance and condition concerns in used examples, so reliability is best approached with careful inspection and service-history review. For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is less about the driving experience and more about the possibility of higher upkeep and condition-related surprises.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and focused.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 131 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.02% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,109 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $39,116 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,716 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make this model easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing means you should expect buyers to be value-conscious and to compare your vehicle closely against similarly priced luxury SUVs. A clean history, strong condition, and documented maintenance will matter more when you go to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the strongest balance of current pricing, owner satisfaction, and luxury-SUV character in this range. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2019 is the better starting point when you want a capable, upscale SUV and are willing to shop carefully for condition and maintenance history.
