Yes — the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out in the compact SUV class because it gives you a standard third row, a more modern cabin, and a broad equipment list that includes heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, an eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and driver-assistance features. Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Outlander’s comfort-focused tuning, quiet cabin, and well-equipped interior support a reassuring ownership experience if you value everyday usability over performance. Its standard all-wheel drive and broad safety equipment also add to its appeal for Canadian buyers. For used shoppers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its modest performance and small third row may leave you less satisfied if your needs change.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 464 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.98% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,135 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $33,151 CAD sits slightly below last year's $35,637 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Outlander has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises. If you buy near the lower end of the current range, you may reduce the amount of value lost over your ownership period. The model’s standard seven-seat layout and family-friendly packaging should continue to support demand among shoppers who want practicality in a compact SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,541 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $33,151 CAD average.
• It adds refreshed interior tech and a better sound system.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the better value and are comfortable with its existing formula. If you care more about the updated tech and improved cabin polish, the 2025 is the better path, but price-sensitive buyers will likely find the 2024 easier to justify.
