Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Outlander stands out because it offers a standard third row, a seven-seat layout, and a cabin that feels more modern than the previous generation. It also suits you well if you want a family-focused SUV with extra seating, standard all-wheel drive in Canada, and a distinctive look. 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Outlander’s appeal is supported by its comfort-focused tuning, quiet cabin, and standard safety and convenience equipment. Its standard driver-assistance features and all-wheel drive should make it an easy SUV to live with in Canadian conditions. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the third row is very small, so you should not count on it for regular full-size passenger use.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 504 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,962 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $32,962 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,648 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can make future resale gains harder to count on in the short term. If you buy at the right price now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation later. The Outlander’s standard seven-seat layout and family-focused appeal should help keep it relevant with shoppers who want extra versatility.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,008 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $32,962 CAD average.
• It adds new in-cabin tech and a better sound system.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the lower average price and a strong value case in a family-friendly seven-seat SUV. Consider the 2025 if you are willing to pay more for the refresh and place extra value on updated technology and audio. If price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter starting point.
