Used 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe for Sale nearAbbotsford, BC

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe cost?

Prices have softened 12.11% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 467 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

The Santa Fe’s redesign gives you a bold, blocky look, a longer wheelbase, standard third-row seating, and a more versatile family-SUV layout. It also brings strong technology and multiple powertrain options, which makes it appealing if you want something fresh and well equipped.

The trade-offs are clear: the third row is cramped, performance is pedestrian, and top trims get expensive.

With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Santa Fe is presented as a well-rounded redesign with standard advanced safety and driver-assistance features, plus a broad set of convenience and technology upgrades. Its first-year redesign status means you should pay close attention to how the new packaging, electronics, and trim-specific equipment have held up in real-world use.

The available maintenance and ownership features also point to a vehicle designed to be easy to live with over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a first-year redesign can bring more complexity than a carryover model, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred trim includes a reversing camera, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, forward collision-avoidance assist, intersection assist, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic emergency braking, safe-exit assist, lane-keep assist, lane-following assist, driver-attention monitoring with hands-off alert, and a rear-occupant reminder system. Higher trims add more convenience and safety equipment, so make sure the one you’re considering has the features you want.
• Powertrain: In Canada, the hybrid powertrain is the entry-level choice on Preferred models, while other trims use a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The hybrid is rated at 6.9 L/100 km combined, while the gas engine is rated at 10.6 L/100 km combined.
• Safety package: Hyundai’s driver-assistance suite includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision-avoidance assist, intersection assist, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic emergency braking, safe-exit assist, lane-keep assist, lane-following assist, driver-attention monitoring, and a rear-occupant reminder system. Higher trims add a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot view monitor, parking sensors, reverse parking collision assist, remote automatic parking, and a head-up display.
• Infotainment: The cabin centres on a curved panoramic display, while the Preferred trim uses a simpler 12.3-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto come standard, and the system also includes a 12-speaker Bose stereo, dynamic voice recognition, and six USB ports.
• Fuel efficiency: The Santa Fe Hybrid is rated at 6.8 L/100 km in city driving, 6.9 on the highway, and 6.9 combined. The gas powertrain is rated at 12.1 L/100 km city, 8.8 highway, and 10.6 combined. The XRT is rated at 12.2/9.1/10.8 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred, Luxury, Ultimate Calligraphy, and XRT.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Santa Fe experience with the standard safety suite and the simpler 12.3-inch touchscreen. It makes the most sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model.
• Luxury: This trim adds a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot view monitor, rain-sensing windshield wipers, parking sensors, reverse parking collision assist, and remote automatic parking. It’s a strong step up if you want more everyday convenience.
• XRT: This is the one to choose if you want the more rugged-looking version with off-road modes, extra ground clearance, and all-terrain tires. It also gets extra towing capacity.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the most luxurious version, with the widescreen head-up display and upgraded blind-spot and forward collision avoidance systems. It’s the best fit if you want the most premium Santa Fe experience.

For most buyers, the best value is the Preferred trim with the Trend package, which adds a long list of desirable features and the hybrid powertrain.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 467 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.11% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,599 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe's resale value?

The current average of $41,599 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,329 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Santa Fe more attractive to used buyers today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more heavily on trim, condition, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone.

Because the model is still relatively fresh and well equipped, well-kept examples should remain appealing to shoppers who want a newer-feeling family SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe safe?

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe has not yet been crash-tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety suite is extensive, starting with a reversing camera, adaptive cruise control, forward collision-avoidance assist, intersection assist, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic emergency braking, safe-exit assist, lane-keep assist, lane-following assist, driver-attention monitoring, and a rear-occupant reminder system.

Higher trims add a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot view monitor, parking sensors, reverse parking collision assist, remote automatic parking, and a widescreen head-up display. The Santa Fe is also the first Hyundai vehicle with driver monitoring across the lineup.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesign brings a bold new look, standard third-row seating, and a more versatile family-SUV layout.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $30,048 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $41,599 CAD average.
• It remains a strong-value two-row SUV with standard safety features and easy-to-use technology.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $44,475 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $41,599 CAD average.
• It builds on the bold redesign with more interior space and added family-friendly features.

The bottom line: If you want the newest design and the most versatile cabin layout, the 2024 is the main target. If price matters most, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to spend more for the latest version of the same formula.
