Used 2024 Ford F-150 for Sale near Thornhill, ON

How much does the 2024 Ford F-150 cost?

Prices have softened 10.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,787 listings available, which suggests healthy inventory for you to compare trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Ford F-150 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford F-150 earns a 4.57/5 user rating and an 8.00/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the powerful engine choices, smooth driving experience, and strong towing capability. The truck also stands out for its broad feature set and the way it blends capability with everyday usability.

The main trade-offs are a bouncy unladen ride and some concerns about value for money at higher prices. In practical terms, this is a truck that suits you if you want a do-it-all full-size pickup for work, family duty, and towing, but you should be selective about trim and options.

With 36.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still enough market activity to find a competitive example.

Is the 2024 Ford F-150 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable, with many drivers highlighting its strong engine choices and trouble-free day-to-day use. The expert drive notes also support that impression by describing the powertrain as doing its job in the background and the truck as settling down nicely once it has some weight in the bed.

Ford’s warranty coverage also helps reduce early ownership worry, especially if you plan to keep the truck for the long haul. For used buyers, the main risk is less about basic dependability and more about choosing a well-equipped example that has been maintained properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford F-150?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base XL is pretty spartan, while higher trims add more comfort and luxury. You should pay close attention to feature gaps on lower trims, especially if you want a more upscale cabin or more convenience equipment.
• Powertrain: You get a turbocharged 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6 as standard, while the PowerBoost Hybrid 3.5-litre turbo V6 is the standout for buyers who want strong output and better efficiency. The Tremor uses a 5.0-litre V8, and the Raptor R uses a 5.2-litre supercharged V8.
• Safety package: Every F-150 comes with Ford CoPilot 360, including automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and cross traffic alert. A 360-degree camera is recommended on higher trims, and BlueCruise is available on Tremor and above.
• Infotainment: All models get a 12-inch touchscreen with SYNC 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a 5G LTE hotspot, and a 12-inch digital gauge cluster. The system is easy to learn and use.
• Fuel efficiency: The PowerBoost Hybrid is rated at 11.4 L/100 km in the city, 10.1 on the highway, and 10.8 combined. The Raptor R is rated at 19.7 L/100 km combined.

Which 2024 Ford F-150 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford F-150 is offered in 8 trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Tremor, Raptor, and Raptor R.

Here's the short version:

• XL: This is the most affordable entry point, but it is pretty bare-bones. It makes sense if you want the F-150’s core capability and plan to keep the budget tight.
• XLT: This is the best-value trim for many buyers because it opens the door to more comfort and available equipment without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• Lariat: This is the better choice if you want a more polished cabin and more available technology, especially if you value a more premium daily-driving experience.
• King Ranch: This trim leans into luxury with heated and ventilated front leather seats, heated rear seats, wood trim, and ambient lighting.
• Platinum: This is the upscale pick if you want a more premium feel and access to the hybrid powertrain.
• Tremor: This is the off-road-focused choice, with a lifted stance, off-road-tuned suspension, locking rear differential, and Trail Turn Assist.
• Raptor: This is the serious performance off-road model if you want the most aggressive hardware and capability.
• Raptor R: This is the extreme version, with the most power and the most dramatic off-road hardware in the lineup.

For safety equipment, note that a 360-degree camera is not standard on every trim, so it is worth prioritising if visibility matters to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford F-150?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting for a deep bargain cycle.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,787 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $55,742 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $55,742 CAD sits slightly below last year's $62,100 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you are buying now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment than owners did a year ago. If prices stabilise, a well-kept truck with desirable equipment should hold up better than a stripped example. Strong demand for capable full-size pickups should still support values, especially for trims with sought-after features and powertrains.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford F-150 safe?

The 2024 Ford F-150 earns five-star ratings in frontal crash and side crash, and a four-star rating in rollover testing from NHTSA. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the SuperCrew Good ratings in driver- and passenger-side crashworthiness, but Poor for front crash testing and Poor for seatbelt reminders, with Marginal child seat anchors.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2024 F-150 comes with Ford CoPilot 360, which includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and cross traffic alert. BlueCruise is available on Tremor and higher trims, and Ford also offers lane-change assist and lane-repositioning for this model year.

The main safety caveat is that some advanced features are not standard, and the IIHS results show a few weak spots you should keep in mind if safety is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds updated BlueCruise and thoughtful interior and exterior tweaks.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $50,465 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $55,742 CAD average.
• It adds the Raptor R debut and the XLT Heritage Edition.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $61,744 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $55,742 CAD average.
• It broadens the lineup with more driver-assistance systems and a Platinum Plus package.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of updated tech, strong owner satisfaction, and a softer market, the 2024 is the smart default. If price is your main concern, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the newest breadth of features and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
