Used 2024 Toyota Tundra for Sale near Thornhill, ON

How much does the 2024 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices have softened 13.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 350 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Toyota Tundra earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 8/10.

The Tundra is aimed at you if you want a massive full-size pickup with a strong identity, Toyota dependability, and an available i-Force Max drivetrain. It also brings an open-air driving experience that makes it feel more distinctive than a typical big truck.

The trade-offs are clear: it is not the class leader for towing or payload, and the design may not suit everyone. Forward visibility is also poor, and the interior materials feel cheap.

The market shows 33.1% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Toyota’s reputation for dependability is a major part of the Tundra’s appeal, and the expert notes reinforce that identity with a focus on long-term reliability. The truck’s engineering emphasis on cooling and durability also supports that message.

The performance notes point to a truck built to work hard, with a strong powertrain and serious capability. Toyota also includes complimentary service and safety-connected trial periods, which can make early ownership simpler.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the current third-generation truck’s durability is still being proven over many years of service.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Tundra?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SR is the most stripped-back version, while higher trims add more comfort and convenience. Lower trims may need option packages to get features such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors with automatic braking.
• Powertrain: Every Tundra uses a twin-turbocharged 3.4-litre V6, with the i-Force Max hybrid version adding a 36-kilowatt electric motor and a 1.87-kilowatt-hour battery. The hybrid setup delivers the strongest output and is paired with standard 4WD.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, road-sign recognition, and automatic high-beam headlights.
• Infotainment: The TRD Pro tested here had a 14-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. Toyota also offers connected-service trials, native cloud navigation, and a digital voice assistant.
• Fuel efficiency: The tested hybrid averaged 16.5 L/100 km, while Natural Resources Canada’s combined figure was 12.3 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Toyota Tundra trim should I buy?

The 2024 Toyota Tundra is offered in 5 trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and Capstone.

Here's the short version:

• SR: This is the entry point if you want the Tundra nameplate at the lowest starting point, but you should expect the fewest features and the most need to add options if you want more safety or convenience equipment.
• SR5: This is the sensible step up if you want a better-equipped truck without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• Limited: This is the best-value trim because it unlocks more of the Tundra’s useful equipment, including access to features that are not standard on lower trims.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and more comfort-focused equipment.
• Capstone: This is the top-end choice if you want the most luxurious version of the Tundra lineup.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard, but blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors with automatic braking require an option package on lower trims or a Limited trim or higher.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Tundra?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 350 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.63% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $55,330 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $55,330 CAD sits slightly below last year's $64,059 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more truck for the money today, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if prices keep easing. If you buy well and keep the truck in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. The Tundra’s reputation for durability should help support demand, especially among shoppers who value Toyota ownership.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Toyota Tundra safe?

The 2024 Toyota Tundra earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS, and Tundra Crew Cab 4WD models earn five-star ratings across the board from NHTSA, with a four-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, road-sign recognition, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors with automatic braking require an option package on lower trims or a Limited trim or higher.

A key caveat is the IIHS Poor result in the newer moderate overlap frontal-impact test that measures rear-seat passenger protection.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 stands out for its powerful i-Force Max drivetrain and distinctive open-air driving experience.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $51,659 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $55,330 CAD average.
• It offers a more advanced and efficient take on the Tundra.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $60,259 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $55,330 CAD average.
• It adds new tech features and a retro TRD Rally Package.

The bottom line: The 2024 makes sense if you want the current truck’s character, strong powertrain, and a market that has softened enough to create some buying opportunity. If price is your top priority, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want newer tech and can spend more, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
