Used 2024 Chevrolet Trax for Sale nearKelowna, BC

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trax cost?

Prices have softened 7.60% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 480 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trax a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Trax earns a 4.6/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its sporty design, fuel efficiency, and comfort, and they also value the modern technology and strong value for money. The main trade-offs are that some buyers want more power and more interior space, and the lack of all-wheel drive may matter if you need extra traction. For shoppers who want an affordable bridge between a car and a crossover, the Trax fits that brief well. Good and great deals account for 32.5% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trax reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with owners often highlighting the Trax as a vehicle they can count on for everyday use. The expert drive notes also support that impression by describing the powertrain and chassis as well sorted, with minimal turbo lag and predictable handling. Chevrolet’s three-year, 60,000-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain coverage add some reassurance for used buyers. For long-term ownership, the main risk is more about fit than durability: if you need extra power, all-wheel drive, or more cabin space, you may outgrow it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trax?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: LS models come with 17-inch steel wheels and a cloth interior, while higher trims add Evotex upholstery, larger wheels, and more distinctive styling touches. The base trim also misses some of the more upscale visual and comfort upgrades found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, paired with front-wheel drive only. It is tuned for easy everyday response rather than outright power.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic high beams, and a following distance indicator. Adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist are optional.
• Infotainment: LS and 1RS trims use an 8-inch touchscreen, while LT, 2RS, and Activ models get an 11-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available, and Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity continues.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 7.9 L/100 km combined, 8.3 city, and 7.4 highway.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trax trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trax is offered in 5 trim levels: LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and Activ.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the value play if you want the lowest entry point and can live with the simpler 17-inch steel-wheel look, cloth upholstery, and the standard 8-inch touchscreen. It gives you the core Trax experience without paying for extras you may not need.
• 1RS: This trim adds a sportier appearance while staying relatively accessible, so it makes sense if you want more style without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• LT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it brings the larger 11-inch touchscreen, the 8-inch digital instrument cluster, and additional rear-seat USB ports. If you want the most noticeable tech upgrade for the money, this is the one to focus on.
• 2RS: Choose this if you want the sportier look and the richer equipment mix, including the larger screens and the more distinctive RS treatment.
• Activ: This is the right pick if you prefer the more rugged styling theme and want a more upscale personality without moving into a different vehicle class.

Safety equipment is strongest in the higher trims, since some advanced driver-assistance features remain optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trax?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 480 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.60% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,856 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

The current average of $23,927 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,895 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Trax is currently in a buyer-friendly phase, which can work against a future seller if you buy at the wrong point in the cycle. On the other hand, a lower entry price can help you limit depreciation exposure if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years. The model’s strong value proposition and broad appeal should help support demand, especially among shoppers looking for an affordable crossover with modern tech.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trax safe?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trax does not have published IIHS or NHTSA crash-test ratings in the source data here.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic high beams, and a following distance indicator. Chevrolet also includes the Teen Driver system, which can limit certain vehicle functions and monitor driving behaviour for added oversight. The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard across the range, so you may need to move up a trim or add options to get features such as adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trax or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model year stands out for its thoroughly redesigned, more modern feel, plus the added technology and larger footprint that help it bridge the gap between a car and a crossover.

The bottom line: If you want the most modern Trax experience, the 2024 is the one to target. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price.
