Used 2023 Lexus RX for Sale nearYork, ON

How much does the 2023 Lexus RX cost?

Prices have softened 12.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 237 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Lexus RX a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Lexus RX earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

The redesigned RX takes a cautious approach, but it still feels meaningfully improved, especially if you want a polished luxury SUV with a comfortable cabin and strong technology. Its premium interior materials and modern infotainment are clear strengths, and the overall formula stays true to the RX’s established appeal.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: the standard suspension can feel unsettled on imperfect pavement, cargo space is limited, and the head-up display integration is not especially good. Even so, the RX remains a compelling fit if you want refinement and everyday luxury more than sharp driving dynamics.

With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Lexus RX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The RX’s appeal is built around reliability, refinement, safety, and style, and the 2023 redesign keeps that identity intact while adding more technology and a more modern cabin. The expert evaluation also points to a well-rounded luxury crossover that stays true to the model’s core strengths.

Its turbocharged 2.4-litre engine is described as a good choice, and the RX 350 AWD is said to perform better at higher altitude while returning slightly better fuel economy than the outgoing V6. Lexus also says the RX 350 AWD reaches 100 kilometres per hour in roughly 7.3 seconds.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is more about comfort and feature complexity than basic dependability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lexus RX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The RX 350 range includes F Sport 1, Luxury, F Sport 2, Executive, and F Sport 3. The cabin is upscale across the board, but the base setup still uses NuLuxe artificial leather, and some convenience and display features are reserved for higher trims.
• Powertrain: The RX 350 uses a turbocharged 2.4-litre inline four-cylinder engine with 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It is described as a good choice, with slightly better fuel economy than the outgoing V6, though it does not sound as smooth.
• Safety package: Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard, with lane departure warning, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, motorcycle detection, evasive steering assistance, intersection turn assistance with front cross-traffic alert, and curve speed reduction through adaptive cruise control. Some HUD-equipped models have unmarked adaptive cruise controls, which can make operation less intuitive.
• Infotainment: Lexus Interface uses a 9.8-inch or 14-inch touchscreen and includes wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, satellite radio, and connected services. Digital instrumentation is standard, while a digital rearview mirror and digital key smartphone technology are available.
• Fuel efficiency: The RX 350 AWD is estimated at 9.9 L/100 km in combined driving.

Which 2023 Lexus RX trim should I buy?

The 2023 Lexus RX is offered in 5 trim levels: F Sport 1, Luxury, F Sport 2, Executive, and F Sport 3.

Here's the short version:

• F Sport 1: This is the entry point if you want the redesigned RX’s core luxury, technology, and safety package without stretching for extras. It gives you the modern cabin and standard driver-assistance suite, making it the most accessible way into the model.
• Luxury: This is the best-value trim if you want a more upscale feel without jumping to the sportier or more expensive versions. It suits you if comfort and premium ambience matter more than performance add-ons.
• F Sport 2: Choose this if you want a stronger visual and dynamic edge while staying below the top sport trim. It makes sense if you like the RX’s comfort but want a more distinctive personality.
• Executive: This is the trim to target if you want a richer equipment mix and a more premium daily experience. It’s a good fit if you plan to keep the RX for long-term luxury commuting.
• F Sport 3: Pick this if you want the most performance-focused RX 350 setup described here, including adaptive damping suspension and upgraded brakes. It feels more sure-footed and secure, but it is the least comfort-first choice.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard across the range.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lexus RX?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you should shop with a clear target and be ready to move when the right listing appears.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 237 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,492 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $49,492 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,444 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the RX has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help keep demand steady in the near term. For a future seller, it also means you may need to price carefully if you want to stand out against a market that has already moved down.

The RX’s strong reputation for reliability, refinement, safety, and style should continue to support buyer interest. Well-equipped examples with the right trim and condition are likely to hold attention better than stripped or poorly optioned ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Lexus RX safe?

The 2023 RX earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2023 RX also gets Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 (LSS+ 3.0), a robust collection of advanced driving assistance systems. It includes lane departure warning, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, motorcycle detection, evasive steering assistance, intersection turn assistance with front cross-traffic alert, and a curve speed-reduction function with adaptive cruise control.

It also adds Proactive Driving Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, and Advanced Park Assist. The system is impressive overall, but some HUD-equipped models have unmarked adaptive cruise controls, and the front cross-traffic warnings can be harder to interpret if you’re wearing polarized sunglasses.

Should I buy a 2023 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesigned RX feels meaningfully improved, with a stronger cabin and better technology balance.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $44,150 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $49,492 CAD average.
• It is a comfort-focused carryover with strong reliability and minimal changes.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $54,801 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $49,492 CAD average.
• It leans harder into comfort and fuel efficiency.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of modern tech, comfort, and current market value, the 2023 is the strongest all-around choice. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value path; if you want a newer model and can spend more, the 2024 is worth a look.
